Connecting screen usage data to a cli/local api for ai or other application
i wanna run a cron when i sleep to analyze my screen usage, or let hermes use this data as context of me, and help increase my productivity

Export relevant recording(s) as video for analysis
As a user, I often go through workflows that I then want to document, sometimes as a tutorial or guide, or sometimes in order to file a bug report. Being able to export content from Retrace, a low-fps video (at the capture rate), with audio and subtitles/transcript once available - would presumably be the most compatible format. This could then be shared as a video to a recipient, or fed into an LLM to analyse frames and audio/subtitles, in order to understand the workflow and write the issue, guide, or whatever else. The key thing is that Retrace holds the data; if the relevant data can be exported to the relevant integration, the LLM/service/etc can take it from there.

I tried it—it's awesome! few questions
Although it’s still a prototype, it feels like the future is promising. I have a few questions: Retrace’s file is separate from Rewind, right? I’m worried it might modify or contaminate my original files; I couldn’t find the Retrace folder. If both are recording at the same time, how does Retrace handle overlapping parts? If I don’t use Retrace to record and instead treat it as a Rewind viewer, how will Retrace handle the videos that Rewind renders and adds in real time?
